Born in Queens NY, I grew up in a very colorful and populous city that many artists flock to. Naturally, I fell in to the fine arts world at a very yound age of five by taking private art classes and many summer art programs such as SVA (School of Visual Arts).
Born in Queens NY, I grew up in a very colorful and populous city that many artists flock to. Naturally, I fell in to the fine arts world at a very yound age of five by taking private art classes and many summer art programs such as SVA (School of Visual Arts).
Not only has the city that I was born and grew up in has had an effect on my artworks, my ethnical roots have also have a great impact. Coming from a first generation Chinese family, I would have to dive myself into Chinese culture. As a result, I naturally ended up adding more factors of Chinese culture and tradition.
